Sex Education journal

Status:
Current

Now in its 16th year of publication, Sex Education is a leading international journal publishing papers on all aspects of sex, sexuality and sex and relationships education. Comprising six issues a year, the publication has grown steadily over the years to become one of the leading journals internationally in the field.

The journal acknowledges that sexuality and sex education takes place in a range of contexts - at home, in schools, through the media and in the community.  Sex Education welcomes papers focusing on one or more of these settings. Given the many ways of evaluating the effects and success of sex education, both quantitative and qualitative studies are included, alongside conceptual and historical analyses.

Contributions from all academic disciplines, including education, cultural and media studies, sociology, psychology, history and public health are included. This journal is published by Routledge.

The journal’s editor-in-chief is Scientia Professor Peter Aggleton.
